Studio Dress Code
Dress Code is a very important part of dance class. Please take a moment to review our dress code so that dancers are prepared to be as successful as possible.
Leotards:
All Levels must are REQUIRED to wear a SOLID COLOR Leotard
No Prints Please
Tights:
All Levels are REQUIRED to
wear tights to class.
Ballet:
Pink Tights required, all levels
Tap/Jazz/Lyrical:
Pink, Suntan, or Black Tights permitted
Hair:
Hair needs to be up, secured, and away from the face-NO Tendrils
Bun is REQUIRED for Dancers in Level 1+
*Dancers are responsible for having
their hair ready for class
before entering the studio
Male Dancers
-T-shirt (Solid Color Preferred)
-Athletic Shorts (Solid Colored Preferred)
-Black Dance Pants (Form Fitting)
-Black Leather Ballet Shoes
-No Jewelry or Smart Watches
Shoes
Ballet- Pink (all levels)
Tap- Black (all levels)
A color for performance will be determined based on costume
Jazz- Tan or Black (all levels)
A color for performance will be determined based on costume
Lyrical- 'Tad-pole' or 'Foot Undies', Dancer's preference, flesh color
*Pointe Shoes are ONLY at the discretion of the Studio Director.
Other:
Shorts- Older dancers may way BLACK FORM FITTING shorts for class if needed
*No other colors or prints please
*No Skirts please
Jewelry- NO Jewelry should be worn to class including
Smart Watches & Fitbits
*Post earrings are OK
